Advance Bookings

Advance booking is essential, particularly for weekends, bank holidays and during July and August. Bookings may be made online on www.rossnowlaghcamping.com or by emailing info@rossnowlagh.com. You can also contact us by telephone on (00353) 85 165 5917

At time of booking full contact details are required and payment must be received in full by credit/debit card or cash. By booking you give permission for your contact details to be retained on our computer system.

 

Party Size / Age Restrictions

We cater for families and couples and small groups generally not exceeding 4 people. All group bookings must be pre-booked and agreed by management.

A maximum block booking of 3 pitches is permitted. We cannot guarantee that caravans booked in together will be beside each other on the Park but we will endeavor to facilitate preferences indicated. Only one caravan/tent to be placed on a pitch at any one time. (Tents max 2 meters long only)

We have a limited number of pitches for twin axle caravans, advance booking is advised by contacting the office. We are unable to accommodate Commercial Vehicles, or units other than specific tourist units.

Persons aged under 18 years of age are not accepted unless with family members who will be responsible for their conduct.

Cancellations / Amendments

A minimum of 14 days written notice (letter or email), in advance of arrival date will be required from anyone wishing to cancel their booking. If more than 14 days’ notice is given, the booking may be re-arranged to another available date within the season or alternatively a refund can be given minus e5.00 administration charge. Cancellations within 14 days of customer’s arrival date will not be transferable or refunded unless in exceptional circumstances such as serious illness or family bereavement. (Appropriate documentation e.g. a medical note must be forwarded in order to process this refund, minus a e5.00 administration charge.) Customers are advised to have insurance cover in the event of cancellation. Refunds cannot be made for any amendments made to the booking on arrival or during stay.

No Shows

Failure to arrive without satisfactory explanation or written cancellation being received will receive no transfer or refund. If no notification is given and the pitch is not occupied by 1.00pm on the day following the day of expected arrival, we reserve the right to re-let the pitch with payment forfeited.

Extended Stays

• A maximum stay operates at the discretion of the management.

Extensions can be arranged, subject to availability and possible relocation, although there is no guarantee that pitches can be extended beyond the date booked. If you wish to extend your stay please check with reception as soon as possible.

Prices and Payment

All published prices include VAT and are subject to change without prior notification. The total amount paid is the same however you pay.

General

We reserve the right to refuse any booking. As we are a holiday touring caravan park we only accept holidaymakers and cannot accommodate those using caravans for residential or employment purposes or as a base to carry out a trade/business of any form.

The Management has the right to decline acceptance of any overnight application for any reason. In particular if any application contains misrepresentations the Management may decline acceptance.

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a booking where we feel that the comfort of our guests may be compromised.

Arrival and Check-in procedure

All guests must check in at reception on arrival.

All Customers must pay for their stay in full on arrival.

All Pitches Must be Vacated by 12pm (noon) on the day of your departure otherwise an additional night’s fee will be charged.

Additional Nights Fee Must be paid for by 12pm (noon).

Please note that should you wish to extend your stay beyond the booked dates there is no guarantee that the same pitch will be available but we will endeavor to minimise any disruption during your stay.

A pre-booked site may not be available until 1pm.

As a small family run business we are available at all times to assist with any queries you might have while staying with us. We manage the park in a thorough yet discrete manner and hope our guests will appreciate that although our presence may not always be obvious we are never far away. On arrival you will be furnished with contact details to ensure you have full access to us at all times.

Finally, as a guest in our small independent campsite we would like to make your stay and that of your fellow guests as enjoyable as possible. Site rules exist and we will make you aware of them on arrival. They can also be found by clicking here. However in summary, they are firmly based on the principles of common sense and respect. We hope that all our guests will consider this during their stay and respect both their surroundings and fellow guests and in doing so will ensure an enjoyable holiday is had by all.
